2023 Deep Roots Winter Series – Jon Byrd @ Darry’s Food & Drink

Delta singer/songwriter Jon Byrd brings country favorites and original songs to the November Farmers – Bakers- Makers- Market in Cleveland, MS. Jon’s musical interests began when his grandfather bought him a drum set, and Jon started singing and playing along to Country music videos on CMT. George Strait was his main influence along with Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn and Kenny Chesney. Jon’s mother taught three guitar chords— G,C,D and he took it from there. His new album, Bed of Coals, was released in fall of 2022 and is available on all streaming platforms.
