Deep Roots 2026 Fall Series – Cricket @ West End Grille

Born & raised in the Delta of Clarksdale, MS, Cricket began playing piano at the age of five and developed into a skilled blues pianist and singer. She has recorded and performed with blues legends such as Sam Carr, Robert “Bilbo”
Walker, and Chicago’s Dave Riley.

Cricket has been a featured performer at Clarksdale’s Juke Joint Festival and has appeared at notable venues like Morgan Freeman’s Gound Zero Blues Club, B. B. King’s Club Ebony in Indianola, the Oxford Blues Festival and the Big Steam Blues Festival. She is a regular performer in the rotation of musicians at Hambone’s Art Gallery,  Hooker’s Grocery, Hopson’s Commissary, The Auberge Hostel, Bluesberry Café and The Matchbox in Clarksdale, MS.
