Deep Roots 2026 Spring Series – Gramm Phillips @ Bar Fontaine

Gramm Phillips, a proud native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, comes from a multigenerational family of musicians, whether they played for church, taught in schools, or rocked and rolled for a living. After learning about the contributions of local Clarksdale musicians, he pursued his own interests in providing entertainment to the needs of Delta house parties, local events, and surrounding eateries and music venues beginning in his college days and in the years that followed. After graduating from Delta State University with a degree in Business in 2012 and his Master’s in 2013, he spent three and a half years as a contracted musician with Carnival Cruise Line, working on cruise ships within the company’s fleet based out of Charleston, SC, Miami, FL, Galveston, TX, and even Sydney, Australia. He now resides back home in Clarksdale with his wife, Anna Kathryn, and their two children, Isaac and Ellie Kate, where he works with local teens through First Presbyterian Church and continues to entertain.
