Aubrey Holman is a singer-songwriter hailing from the river city of Greenville, Mississippi. “Americana” might be the category which most broadly defines his acoustic blend of blues, folk, country, and rock. His original music tends toward dark and emotional with a few spots of brightness here and there. Like the mighty Mississippi whose reach covers over half of the United States, his music combines genres and connects listeners. Over the years, he has performed with other bands and as a solo musician. He’s comfortable on larger stages, such as the Neshoba County Fair, where he performed with his band Shake Bone Fest, and even more so in intimate venues. Most of his time performing is spent at restaurants and private parties, where he is free to soothe or excite the crowd with his rhythmic guitar playing and emotionally driven lyrics.
