Deep Roots: Live Downtown! – Jon Byrd w/Libby Switzer

Delta singer/songwriter Jon Byrd brings country favorites and original songs to this week’s Deep Roots show! Jon’s musical interests began when his grandfather bought him a drum set, and Jon started singing and playing along to Country music videos on CMT. George Strait was his main influence along with Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn and Kenny Chesney. Jon’s mother taught three guitar chords— G,C,D and he took it from there. Opening the show will be local singer/songwriter Libby Switzer.
