DESCRIPTION:Singer/songwriter Charles Sullivan is a member of the Delta String Band\, an Americana band based out of Greenville\, Mississippi. Similar to what the band presents\, Sullivan sings a variety of styles\, from folk and bluegrass to straight-up country. With influences like bluegrass great Ralph Stanley\, folk master John Prine\, pure country kings Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings\, and even genre-fusing groups like the Grateful Dead\, Sullivan brings his own flavor to the music he plays\, and that “old school way” means playing music in its truest\, purest\, stripped-down form.

SUMMARY:Deep Roots 2026 Summer Series - Michael 'Cadillac' Dennis @ Backdraft
DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta\, ‘Cadillac’ Dennis’ musical journey began with singing and playing drums with the church choir as a kid.  While majoring in music at Mississippi Valley State University\, he began dabbling with guitar and piano.  This led to his playing in a number of Gospel bands in his twenties\, before starting to play guitar for various Blues artists. Dennis formed his own band\, the Big Time Rhythm & Blues Band in the spring of 2010 and booked performances throughout the South\, Northwest\, and even Hawaii.  He recently released a single\, “2X Woman”\, which he co-produced with the help of another Deep Roots musician\, Eric Edwards.
