DESCRIPTION:The Harmony Gospel Quartet of Boyle\, Mississippi will have audiences feeling the spirit with a rousing show filled with Gospel favorites and joyous originals. \nStarted as a family musical ensemble\, the Harmony Quartet has evolved into something much bigger\, with some members moving on to work with well-known recording artists. Family patriarch Larry Williams said Harmony Quartet started out with his wife\, Barbara\, and all of their children some twenty-five years ago performing their trademark gospel music. “Barbara had to bow out of our group due to health reasons\, so right now the band consists of me\, my son Jermel and my daughter Zynpthia plus our other musicians–we’re a full band. We also take turns singing lead but Jermel is our main lead singer\,” said Williams. This is not just some casual family singing group getting together to perform for fun\, though–not by any stretch\, but it’s truly a family affair when it comes to the Harmony Quartet.

We have the cleanest band and the best attitude and stage presence of any band I’ve ever seen\, and that’s the reason we have been going for so long. DESCRIPTION:Tricia Walker is a singer and songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Faith Hill\, Patty Loveless and Alison Krauss\, whose performance of Tricia’s Looking in the Eyes of Love earned a GRAMMY® award. A recording artist herself\, Tricia has released eight studio recordings in multiple styles. Tricia moved to Nashville where she worked as a songwriter for three different publishing companies\, as a backing musician for Opry star Connie Smith\, Shania Twain and Paul Overstreet\, and founded the Original Women in the Round\, one of the most celebrated foursomes at Nashville’s prestigious Bluebird Café\,  with Pam Tillis\, Karen Staley and Ashley Cleveland. Tricia returned to her native Mississippi in 2006 to become director of the Delta Music Institute\, an entertainment industry studies program at her alma mater\, Delta State University. She retired from DSU in 2019 as Director Emerita\, DMI\, and Professor of the Practice Emerita in Entertainment Industry Studies. She is now serving as the music ambassador for the City of Cleveland\, MS where she is leading the Deep Roots music initiative. \nJoining the bill will be Danny Abraham\, singer/songwriter/pianist/performer from the Mississippi Delta\, whose recent Gospel CD titled\, Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me\, is receiving airplay on several gospel charts. \nOpening the show will be DMI graduate student\, singer/songwriter Neshun Holmes.

DESCRIPTION:Tricia Walker is a singer and songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Faith Hill\, Patty Loveless and Alison Krauss\, whose performance of Tricia’s Looking in the Eyes of Love earned a GRAMMY® award. A recording artist herself\, Tricia has released eight studio recordings in multiple styles. \nTricia moved to Nashville where she worked as a songwriter for three different publishing companies\, as a backing musician for Opry star Connie Smith\, Shania Twain and Paul Overstreet\, and founded the Original Women in the Round\, one of the most celebrated foursomes at Nashville’s prestigious Bluebird Café\,  with Pam Tillis\, Karen Staley and Ashley Cleveland. \nTricia returned to her native Mississippi in 2006 to become director of the Delta Music Institute\, an entertainment industry studies program at her alma mater\, Delta State University. She retired from DSU in 2019 as Director Emerita\, DMI\, and Professor of the Practice Emerita in Entertainment Industry Studies. She is now serving as the music ambassador for the City of Cleveland\, MS where she is leading the Deep Roots music initiative. \nJoining the bill will be Danny Abraham\, whose recent Gospel CD titled\, Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me\, is receiving airplay on several gospel charts.

Specializing in classic Motown\, Stax and R&B favorites\, the band members include Charlie Ross (bass and vocals)\, Mike Dill (drums)\, Steve Lewis (guitar and vocals)\, Mark Hudson (trumpet and vocals)\, Randy McCormack (trumpet)\, Nate Murphree (trombone and vocals) Ricky “Toad” Johnson (keyboards and vocal)\, and David Griffin (sound and lights).  \nThe Krackerjacks have performed with such greats as The Spinners\, Sam and Dave\, Restless Heart\, B.B.
