DESCRIPTION:Variety is the popular ‘old school’ R&B/soul duo of siblings Eric Edwards and Shara White from Cleveland\, Mississippi. DESCRIPTION:Mike “Delta Sun” Slaton starting picking and singing after his parents snuck him backstage on his fifth birthday to meet Willie Nelson after a concert in Shreveport\, Louisiana.  He immediately got ‘bit’ by the ‘music bug’ and gave his first live performance at his kindergarten talent show\, singing “On The Road Again.” Born and raised in Greenville\, Mississippi\, Slaton lived in Nashville five years before moving to North Carolina to write and perform while working as an organic farmer. He moved back home to Greenville to be close to family and the ‘long\, dark\, complex memory of the Delta that inspires me and feeds my soul.’  His warm and poetic songs are influenced by meaningful experiences with his family and friends in the here and now and the memories of ancestors left behind and fall comfortably in the musical realm of Townes Van Zandt\, John Prine\, Steve Earle and Gillian Welch. Slaton has released multiple solo acoustic recordings of his original songs\, along with a six-song EP recorded with his band The Wheels in Wilmington\, North Carolina. He has opened for the Avett Brothers\, Lucero\, Chatham County Line\, Col. Bruce Hampton\, Cary Hudson\, and T-Model Ford. Currently\, Mike Slaton is focusing on writing and completing songs to record and release a record inspired by his home state of Mississippi.

Growing up on the upper Texas coast\, his music is referred to as gulf coast gumbo as it is made up of multiple regional influences both current and from the past. Cashman’s  release\, Texassippi Stomp\, which featured Jimbo Mathus\, (Squirrel Nut Zippers\, Buddy Guy) was widely praised and placed on a number of critics year end best of lists for blues recordings.  Cashman has toured extensively throughout Europe and in the USA from the Gulf Coast to Canada and sea to shining sea.Notable festival appearances include SXSW\,  King Biscuit Blues Festival\, Le Blues Autour Du Zinc (France)\, Juke Joint Festival\, and the Lucca Blues Festiva (Italy). Cashman has released 9 full\, studio albums with the latest being 2023 Delta Sound. He plays guitar\, harmonica\, mandolin\, and fiddle across genres of Americana\, Alternative Rock and the Blues. He credits his main musical influences as The Band\, Neil Young\, Muddy Waters\, and Bob Dylan. After moving to the Mississippi Delta in 2004\, he learned to appreciate the rich heritage of the music of Mississippi\, began to perform as a solo artist and continues to do so today.

DESCRIPTION:Mike Slaton starting picking and singing after his parents snuck him backstage on his fifth birthday to meet Willie Nelson after a concert in Shreveport\, Louisiana.  He immediately got ‘bit’ by the ‘music bug’ and gave his first live performance at his kindergarten talent show\, singing “On The Road Again.” Born and raised in Greenville\, Mississippi\, Slaton lived in Nashville five years before moving to North Carolina to write and perform while working as an organic farmer. He moved back home to Greenville to be close to family and the ‘long\, dark\, complex memory of the Delta that inspires me and feeds my soul.’  His warm and poetic songs are influenced by meaningful experiences with his family and friends in the here and now and the memories of ancestors left behind and fall comfortably in the musical realm of Townes Van Zandt\, John Prine\, Steve Earle and Gillian Welch. Slaton has released multiple solo acoustic recordings of his original songs\, along with a six-song EP recorded with his band The Wheels in Wilmington\, North Carolina. He has opened for the Avett Brothers\, Lucero\, Chatham County Line\, Col. Bruce Hampton\, Cary Hudson\, and T-Model Ford. Currently\, Mike Slaton is focusing on writing and completing songs to record and release a record inspired by his home state of Mississippi.

DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta\, ‘Cadillac’ Dennis’ musical journey began with singing and playing drums with the church choir as a kid.  While majoring in music at Mississippi Valley State University\, he began dabbling with guitar and piano.  This led to his playing in a number of Gospel bands in his twenties\, before starting to play guitar for various Blues artists. Dennis formed his own band\, the Big Time Rhythm & Blues Band in the spring of 2010 and booked performances throughout the South\, Northwest\, and even Hawaii.  He recently released a single\, “2X Woman”\, which he co-produced with the help of another Deep Roots musician\, Eric Edwards.

DESCRIPTION:Keith Johnson\, “Prince of the Delta Blues\,” is in the process of carrying on and upholding a family legacy in the entertainment industry as he is the great nephew of blues icon\, Muddy Waters.  He is also the grandson of Texcellar Fields\, blues singer from the early fifties and sixties who once has an opportunity to sign with Chess Records back in the day.  Keith was born in Glen Allen\, Mississippi… a small town in the heartland of the Mississippi Delta.  He is a graduate of Riverside High School and Delta State University\, where he received a BA degree in Entertainment Industry Studies with a concentration in Audio Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources. Keith was a featured performer at the 2015 International Conference on the Blues where he performed with GRAMMY Award winner\, Dom Flemons of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Keith is an accomplished blues musician and winner of the 2016\, 2018\, and 2019 local International Blues Challenge Competition sponsored by the Vicksburg Blues Society and the Mississippi Delta Blues Society. He has shared the stage with GRAMMY winner Bobby Rush and has performed at the Mississippi Delta Blues and Heritage Festival\, the Chicago Blues Festival\, King Biscuit Festival\, the Great Delta Bear Affair\, and toured in Brazil at the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival. Keith has released one album entitled Come to Mississippi\, and a Christmas EP entitled Sounds like Christmas. DESCRIPTION:Alanna Mosley is a singer-songwriter from Carrollton\, Mississippi. Her music—best described as Americana or roots—blurs genre lines\, and her cover tune catalog spans decades. With guitar in hand\, Mosley is an unstoppable jukebox of great music that invites the listener to keep humming along. At an early age\, Mosley was soaking in her music education: 90s guitar queens Patty Griffin and Shawn Colvin\, country rockers like Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle\, and the gauntlet of great singer-songwriters from Carole King to Brandi Carlile. She began playing guitar at the age of 12 and hasn’t quit since. Over the years\, Mosley has built an impressive repertoire of cover songs while also honing her own songwriting skills. She released an EP of original music in 2014\, and in 2016 she was the winner of the prestigious Jimmie Rodgers Songwriting Competition. After living and gigging in Charlotte\, North Carolina for several years\, she returned to the Mississippi Delta in full force.
