His original music reflects his life experiences and for over 30 years\, he has toured the country\, headlining Blues clubs and festivals\, including the Juke Joint Festival\, Unity Festival\, World Catfish Festival\, Que on the Yazoo\, and the Sam Chatmon Festival\, both as a solo artist and with his band\, The Juke Daddys. Mississippi Marshall is a two-time International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalist and a Mississippi Music Foundation award winner for Best Instrumental.  He is currently working on his fourth album.

DESCRIPTION:Pianist Robin Webb has performed as a classical and cocktail soloist\, in addition to combo and collaborative work on all seven continents\, including Antarctica. Cruise ships\, global destination resorts\, New York and European cabaret houses and clubs\, theatres on Broadway\, London’s West End and regional cities kept Robin’s performance schedule busy before returning to his boyhood home\, the Mississippi Delta. Since returning to the Delta\, Robin has been pursuing a newfound love for jazz piano\, having attended the Czech Republic Jazz Workshop\, Stanford University Jazz Workshop\, and University of North Texas workshops. Locally\, he is a member of the Delta State University Jazz Band. He holds a doctorate degree in music\, and when called upon\, he teaches in the Department of Music and the DMI Entertainment Industry Studies program at Delta State.

As a writer\, he seems less influenced by the bro-country of the last decade and more inspired by the writers of yesteryear. His idols are Johnny Cash\, Jamey Johnson\, and Lynyrd Skynyrd\, and it shows.

DESCRIPTION:Vocalist/pianist Mary Claire Rackley from Gulfport\, Mississippi\, is a recent graduate of the DMI Entertainment Industry Studies program at Delta State University. She performed with the DMI All-Stars in Los Angeles as part of the GRAMMY Museum’s ‘Mississippi Night’ in 2019 and recently completed a graduate degree at Delta State while performing around town as a soloist and with her band Elektra. She is currently serving as a Coordinator in the Student Success Center at Delta State.

DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta\, ‘Cadillac’ Dennis’ musical journey began with singing and playing drums with the church choir as a kid.  While majoring in music at Mississippi Valley State University\, he began dabbling with guitar and piano.  This led to his playing in a number of Gospel bands in his twenties\, before starting to play guitar for various Blues artists. Dennis formed his own band\, the Big Time Rhythm & Blues Band in the spring of 2010 and booked performances throughout the South\, Northwest\, and even Hawaii.  He recently released a single\, “2X Woman”\, which he co-produced with the help of another Deep Roots musician\, Eric Edwards.

DESCRIPTION:Alanna Mosley is a singer-songwriter from Carrollton\, Mississippi. Her music—best described as Americana or roots—blurs genre lines\, and her cover tune catalog spans decades. At an early age\, Mosley was soaking in her music education: 90s guitar queens Patty Griffin and Shawn Colvin\, country rockers like Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle\, and the gauntlet of great singer-songwriters from Carole King to Brandi Carlile. She began playing guitar at the age of 12 and hasn’t quit since. Over the years\, Mosley has built an impressive repertoire of cover songs while also honing her own songwriting skills. She released an EP of original music in 2014\, and in 2016 she was the winner of the prestigious Jimmie Rodgers Songwriting Competition.

DESCRIPTION:Pianist Robin Webb has performed as a classical and cocktail soloist\, in addition to combo and collaborative work on all seven continents\, including Antarctica. Cruise ships\, global destination resorts\, New York and European cabaret houses and clubs\, theatres on Broadway\, London’s West End and regional cities kept Robin’s performance schedule busy before returning to his boyhood home\, the Mississippi Delta. Since returning to the Delta\, Robin has been pursuing a newfound love for jazz piano\, having attended the Czech Republic Jazz Workshop\, Stanford University Jazz Workshop\, and University of North Texas workshops. Locally\, he is a member of the Delta State University Jazz Band. He holds a doctorate degree in music\, and when called upon\, he teaches in the Department of Music and the DMI Entertainment Industry Studies program at Delta State.

DESCRIPTION:Aubrey Holman is a singer-songwriter hailing from the river city of Greenville\, Mississippi. “Americana” might be the category which most broadly defines his acoustic blend of blues\, folk\, country\, and rock. His original music tends toward dark and emotional with a few spots of brightness here and there. Like the mighty Mississippi whose reach covers over half of the United States\, his music combines genres and connects listeners. Over the years\, he has performed with other bands and as a solo musician. He’s comfortable on larger stages\, such as the Neshoba County Fair\, where he performed with his band Shake Bone Fest\, and even more so in intimate venues. Most of his time performing is spent at restaurants and private parties\, where he is free to soothe or excite the crowd with his rhythmic guitar playing and emotionally driven lyrics. Though it’s been several years since his last public release\, Aubrey hasn’t been sitting idle. He continues to add to his repertoire of cover material while also building his own catalog of original songs and performs multiple nights a week at local and regional venues. Aubrey Holman rolls on strong and steady\, like the current of the Mississippi River\, diligently creating and performing the music he loves.

DESCRIPTION:Whether writing music\, performing in theater\, or making movies with his friends\, Drew Pulliam always had a knack for storytelling. Growing up\, his mother ran a theater in his hometown of Jonesboro\, AR and has been surrounded by stories his entire life. He recalls\, “I remember playing with my toys on the stage while hearing the latest artistic argument over music and lighting. When we’d come home from rehearsal with my five older brothers and sisters\, the dinner table was filled with the stories about my brother’s latest girlfriend or my sister’s latest girl squabble. Pretty soon I was telling stories of my own.” Drew paired up with Mississippi hitmaker Steve Azar to help these stories come to life with notable musicians such as Chad Cromwell on drums\, Kenny Greenberg on Guitar\, Barry Bays on bass\, and Jonathan Yudkin on cello. Drew’s journey to adulthood and stories along the way helped shape the body of work he created for his debut EP due in 2023. Whether it’s the epic ballad “Fight Our All” that he describes as the song I want the world to hear right now\, or “16 Going On 60\,” which tackles his sudden launch into being an adult\, the relatable collection is set to delight listeners of all ages.

DESCRIPTION:Variety is the popular ‘old school’ R&B/soul duo of siblings Eric Edwards and Shara White from Cleveland\, Mississippi. They have been performing together across the country for more than 25 years. Their upbeat repertoire is the kind of music that\, according to Eric\, makes audiences want to ‘eat barbecue and drink cold beer.’ \nEric and Shara\, born and raised in the Mississippi Delta\, grew up in a musical home where they both started playing and singing at the early ages of 5 and 6 years old\, respectively. While citing their father\, Eddie Lee Edwards\, as their primary musical influence\, they also are quick to acknowledge the contributions of their former band director\, Mr. James Stamps\, and musical friends Dr. Alphonso Sanders and Joe Johnson in encouraging and shaping the duo’s musical development and direction. \nEric’s voice has been compared to the Isley Brothers\, and Shara’s voice draws comparisons to Whitney Houston\, but they both feel that God has given them each a unique voice. Although known for their R&B style\, the duo is also deeply rooted in gospel music. The duo has released an album together titled There Is No One Else\, and in addition to writing original music for God’s Anointed Voices\, Eric has released an R&B project titled Those Vinyl Days!
